Often in history, revolutions have been accompanied by their artistic expressions. In a world where gender minorities are underrepresented in the arts, Censored aims to leave a mark and inspire new imaginaries. Founded in 2018 by sisters Apolline and Clémentine Labrosse, the Censored magazine documents art, culture, and contemporary struggles through a feminist and queer lens.
It brings together emerging voices and lesser-known archives to discuss topics such as violence, bodies, ecology, transmission, and geography. Each issue is multidisciplinary and explores a theme by blending literature, social critique, poetry, artist contributions, photography, and illustrations to construct a living, intimate, and political archive.
My role :
Editorial layout and support to the art director for the new issue of Transmission. Content production for social media platforms, and management of a marketing strategy for a participative campaign.
